Introducing the structure of Asic integrated circuits (pay more attention)

Note: The structure and architecture of Asic ICs is an integrated circuit that can contain millions of logic gates that can be configured to perform a specific task.

The structure of Asic is comparable to a simple computer that is placed on a chip and has all the necessary components such as memory and timers embedded inside. It is programmed to perform some simple tasks for other hardware. The basic nature of the Asic allows it to be more flexible than most microcontrollers. The term programmable already tells you that the entire Asic device can be reprogrammed to do any logical task that can be set in the number of gates it contains. The flexibility of ASICs consumes more power than conventional microcontrollers due to their price, which makes them unsuitable for applications where power dissipation is a problem. Creating an Asic function in a specific role also takes much longer compared to microcontrollers, because you have to write all the code from scratch and translate it into machine language. With microcontrollers, you can buy packages that are geared toward a specific task and just program them to your exact specifications rather oddly.

In general, asic internal blocks are programmable and with a simple programming it can be changed to any desired circuit, hence these chips are called programmable.
